This pair of jade ear-studs features 2 glassy jadeite pieces carved in teardrop shapes. Carved from a single jadeite rough, both jadeite pieces have good thickness and translucency. Jadeite that have a high degree of translucency and a shimmery glow that can be seen from within the jadeite, are commonly termed as "glassy" jadeite. 

This matching pair of teardrop carvings is classically set with a halo of diamonds for a simple and fuss-free design that can be worn on a daily basis.
