Description

This is a pair of Type A jadeite earrings in a classic "safety coin" carving. This carving is also known as the 平安扣 carving in Chinese because of its round, donut-like shape with a single hole in the middle, similar in shape to a button.

Both pieces of jadeite are carved from incredibly fine jadeite that glow strongly even in dimmer indoor lighting. High translucency combines with fine crystal aggregates to create a glassy appearance with an icy glow that emanates from within the jadeite. Tiny cotton-like flecks can be seen "floating" in the jadeite earrings. These appear almost like snowflakes, adding a wintery touch to this pair of icy jadeite earrings.

This pair of stud earrings is set in 18K white gold for a simple elegant look. A single, natural diamond in the middle of each jadeite carving complements the clean aesthetic of the jadeite earrings.
